I don’t hold that (decent) save as anything though to be honest, as it meant nothing.

I do hold the many many times he’s won us points as very meaningful though.
Aye, maybe stunning was ott (granted, @davek )

But it's true that the save was key in keeping it 0-0. So Dave complaining that Pickford cost us (which he did, again i agree) this great morale boosting performance should also acknowledge that he had played a crucial part in it as well.

How does anyone cut this feller any slack right now?

Never in a million years could I begin to understand that attitude. No wonder we haven't beaten them for years. The players must respond to this very understanding take on massive defeats against Liverpool.

Would you feel better if we get Psycho Pat round to " sort him out "

I take it this is a joke post ?

He’s supposed to touch it out for a corner. He cost us the game, no doubt about it.

Let it drop out for a goal kick where it was headed.

Not too 'kin hard like is it for an England GK?

He should leave it.

But it's a horrid thing to happen. It's hard to judge, because whatever happens that ball is hitting the bar. However, he should realise that if it does hit the bar, then it'll most likely go out of play. Or, worst case, it'll go up in the air and he can take it back in.

A bit of a catch 22 because either way he had to take a risk. It just sums their luck up. Devil spawn.

I'd only seen it as it happened and thought it was dropping into the goal behind him. Having watched the video (posted on this thread) I can see now that it may have been easier for him to fingertip it over the bar, I didn't realise that at the time.

It was easier to have some spatial awareness and let the friggin ball drop off the BACK of the bar and out for a goal kick.

Oh ffs. I took the bait didn’t I?
If it makes you and others feel better that I'm on the wind up mate, then yiu're very welcome.

Why you'd think anyone being 'kin furious with that divvy in goal for us losing us another derby is a sign someone's fishing is astounding though.
