I just cant fathom how you fail to condemn Pickford. He's wrecked a very solid perfomance. I hope the rest of the players in that dressing room were giving him enormous stick.

I have condemned him for yesterday. Over and over. I suggest you read my posts in here and in the match preview for Newcastle on the ‘other’ site.

I hope the exact same as you. He deserves it after that. And I’d even say needs it.

But what’s the point in banging on about it now? Nothing we say makes a difference now. We have a game on Wednesday and that’s all that matters now. For me anyway.

I could care less about what he does for England.

There is only one team interests me and in that match yesterday Pickford finished the game the same way nervous, dithering way he started it....only with dire consequences.

Which, although I am not in full agreement with his assessment of our goalie, lends weight to @davek ‘s misgivings about Pickford.

The difference between class GKs and the rest is they step up and do a job in big matches. Pickford hasn't got the composure or focus.
