I mean your here saying the players dont have belief while you lack the belief yourself.

Pickford was only echoing what every single Everton fan thought once that ball bounced off the crossbar.

Let's hope that mistake doesn't turn him into hopeless Hart overnight...

Please god, please don't let that happen

GET OVER IT

And I’m including me in that.
When it's "get over it x18" it becomes a meaningless request.

Why should we get over it? Why should we not debate in detail the error of this goal keeper and his other howlers, and the fact that he's bang average, and that our elevation of bang average players to hero status has given said bang average players an easy ride to a point where they believe they feel they can get away with making howlers?

He's already at that stage. Errors for club and country. If he played for City rather than Everton he'd be well under the cosh - a place he rightly should be.

You saw last night what Pickford said about it "just being Everton's luck at Anfield". You know you dont have the human material on the pitch to get the job done when they take the field of play with that fatalistic attitude.
Spot on mate, i am totally ashamed of us

You’re a meaningless request now mate. Let’s be honest.

There's no belief against Liverpool. Even if we'd converted the early chances you know we'd have sat back and back and invited loads of pressure and buckled.

I don’t know any such thing, mate. The very fact that we created very presentable chances so early shows that we went there with more belief in ourselves from the first whistle than we’ve had in some time.

Everyone on here knows your online character and that you love to be the contrarian, but the anti-Pickford agenda is laughable. Funny thing is, his confidence is what makes him unique in the league; he’ll bounce back from his clanger better than any of the other keepers could and that’s just part of the reason we should be glad we have him. Every single keeper will drop at least one clanger per season, it’s all about how they react to it.

They have the power to change our mentality. We cant do it for ourselves. We rely on them finally growing a pair and facing down Liverpool's dominance. It's been done before and can be done again.

But it makes it a hell of a lot easier to do that when you have genuine top GK who has a pair of bollocks on him rather than that phoney Pickford.

Your hate for Pickford is getting a bit weird Dave.

Even though we`re nearly 24 hrs after the match, you`re still on one :hayee:

All I ask is that he works on these decisions in the air during the summer. In the big scheme of things, it’s only one point lost- away from home. In the 95th minute it isn’t worth keeping that ball in play. He doesn’t look comfortable dealing with these situations, so we’ll see how he learns from that moment. Best of luck on Wednesday lad.
