He deserved it because he was understandably going to be feeling the pressure, so to help settle his nerves it was good to let me know where %100 behind him and Sunday is in the past.

How is it a hero's welcome? Its showing a player that we are still behind him fully and gives him the confidence boost that a player might need after making such a big mistake. He seemed to really appreciate it and also played well.

Can't believe anybody is moaning about this tbh.
