Every Keeper in the world makes mistakes.

This season alone ive seen ALL of them do it.

Im at the belief that there are no really good Keepers in the world.

They’re all currently first choice, so by default they are good/exceptional.

There has never been a keeper that didn’t make a mistake. Big Nev, Gordon Banks, Dino Zoff.....

We would definitely get more than we paid which is nice.

We wouldn’t get anyone near as good though I don’t think.

Take it you rate him v highly then? Im not convinced he's 'that' good, but recognise he's a Prem level goalie. To me it's the opportunity to sell him at maximum value, as I don't think he'll prove to be top class.

I don’t know about very highly. Maybe the level below that.

But then I don’t think we’d get anything better than him in to replace him should he ever go.

Absolutely agree there will always be the opportunity to sell. He’s a very sellable asset that we have.

But I think he’ll be our keeper for a very very long time unless a huge bid for him comes in. Which could definitely happen.

Part of me wants us to sell Pickford (to a much better team than us) and for us to get a new keeper, who I’m absolutely 100% certain won’t be as good as Pickford, just to see you lot claim he’s good.

I know he hasn't been amazing since the world cup, not as good as he was last season anyway, but the criticism on here is utterly bizarre. He was the best keeper at the world cup and our fans think we could just sell him and get a better one. Top stuff.

Tbh he does need calling out. He's got so much talent, but he lets himself down with the simple things. The goalkeeping coaches need to up their game.

I think he's still a few seasons away from being as good as everyone, mainly England fans, thinks he is.

I agree on this, it's the Sandy Brown if this generation, but for people to judge him on that is sad, Mina and Gomes both had great chances in that game, we could of had three points there.
We could of got something yesterday if Richarlson and Mina would of been playing properly, all these players are responsible for the lack of form, not just one

I agree I don't think he should be blamed, just that that mistake has caused a lack of confidence. As I said it was just such an awful mistake against the worst team, at the worse possible time. If he had made the same sort of mistake against Newcasstle, I don't think we'd be having this debate.
