Probably not. But that's why we are a mid table club. We've had 4 managers since the start of last season but are ultra loyal to underperforming players. We let great servants to the club stay in the team for so long after their best that they end up being resented by the supporters.

I wish we gave managers more time and binned off the players quicker.
Are we? Jagielka and Baines have barely played this season. I'd be surprised if Coleman doesn't get dropped soon. We're already on our third captain. Silva doesn't care about sentiment.

To be honest sometimes it’s both.

Why doesn't everyone just calm the [Poor language removed] down. He's a great keeper, still learning, and is prone to the odd mistake just like every effing keeper these days. And I don't see anyone better that is actually gettable. Try backing our better players rather than knocking them every two seconds.

And even if we finish around 9th/10th this season the most important thing is progress - reshaping the squad after several years of terrible investment, establishing an attractive style of play that we build on with better players, rather than sacking a manager who is actually trying to take the club forward while trying to undo the sh1te that went before him (unlike Koeman and BFS)

If we played against him every week we'd be well up the table.

We have to work hard for our goals against teams but teams don't have to work hard to score against Pickford. They know the lapse will come at some point.

There's no way to dress up the fact he's conceded a hundred goals already. That is an appalling statistic at Christmas in the second season.

We've conceded 100 goals in a season and a half?

The lad has gained us more points than he has lost us, for the life of me why slag him over a couple of wrong decisions.
Today the save he made to keep the score at as it was should be thought of as a match winning save .although is wasn,t to be..
Lads people make mistakes ..Goalies mistakes are always made out to be more critical ..........
Some penalty misses go unnoticed by those few critics

But does he win us more points than a standard goalkeeper would when you factor in the huge number of mistakes he makes and points he costs us? I honestly don't think so...

Pickford made 2 top saves today and could nothing about the goal yet some are so desperate to hate our players they want to blame him for the defeat. It's pathetic.

I don't mind him to be honest but I really wish he would jib off those quick kicks up field to nobody. It just gives the ball straight back to the opposition and puts us under pressure.

If we have men up field then great, but stop doing it when Bernard or someone is up front on his own with 4 grocks. It's basic stuff.
