They have played another 21 games, i find it odd everyone saying the Pickford mistake got them to the top of the league, even if it didn't happen they would still be on top on merit.

They have been the most consistent team over the season so far and that shows with their top position in the league.

lol

How on earth are you still getting away with this.

Mate do you believe we don't know?

The Bard says it best.......”the evil that men do lives after them....the good is oft interred with their bones” (Marc Antony speaking at Julius Caesar’s funeral).

Thus in years to come Jordan Pickford will be remembered mainly for one thing, no matter what he achieves here, if owt.

Just as Sandy Brown is remembered for scoring own goals in derbies rather than being a fine club servant.

And Gary Lineker is remembered more for missing a sitter at Oxford than for the forty goals he actually did score.

:)
That's cause of the concequences the Sandy Brown one led to them beating us and the Lineker miss handed them the title if we hadn't been beaten Sandys would never be brought up quite so much and if we'd won the title Linekers would have been long forgotten about. It's all about concequences.

You say consistent, I’d say lucky

It is no use anyone going on about the anti Pickford brigade. Some people need a target and never give up. Even our best striker for decades, Lukaku was the subject of constant critical drivel by a few. Maybe it is the result of years of frustration at never having a top team. It draws out the worst in some. Even the interviewer at today's PS had a go when he said Pickford is the subject of constant scrutiny including the Southampton game. The manager failed to give the correct response which was "tell me where he was at fault in that game"? That would have shut the idiot journalist up.

Pickford cannot be compared to Rom. Rom was lazy, but did his job. Pickford doesnt.

And do you really think the journo’s wouldnt just point to all the harm he’s done this season and ask if the scrutiny is deserved no matter how he did against Soton?

Plus one wants to be here, the other couldn't wait to get away and showed us zero respect. One knows his place, while the other no has a face like thunder after getting stuck on the bench
