Bore off people. Pickford didn’t lose us the game, Man City were better than us, I’d rather have Pickford than bravo any day yet bravo was on the winning team. Most fans get behind there players this chat is the opposite

Bravo is their number 2..... if pickford Was at a top 4 club he would be number 2.

I just wish he'd be able to balance his pros and cons more. I think his assets are his instinctive shot stopping and his occasional intelligent accurate goal-kicks to a Blue forward. His deficiencies are becoming rather more of a spread unfortunately. His attention issues are a problem - and acting Jack the Lad crazy goalie on and off the pitch is unprofessional and unacceptable for Everton and thats apart from unnerving an already jittery defence. He doesn't come off his line when he should command his immediate area and likewise hes needing more second attempts at holding onto shots on goal and crosses. Hopefully though, Carlo will have all this in his thoughts as the games pass and he gets to grips with assessing the strengths and weaknesses of his squad.

He's just average, he's not terrible as some make out but he's just okay and no more.

I made exceptions for that last season as his distribution was actually decent but now I wince whenever he goes to kick the ball.

Pickford makes saves that other goalkeepers simply don't make. He also doesn't have the greatest defence in front of him. He is very good. And if we do choose to sell him we will make a profit.

He’s got ability, he just needs to improve (which has been the story of the season for most of our players). On getting a better keeper, who do we get? There’s only 2 world class GKs in the league and that’s Ederson and Allison. The rest all have mistakes in them, even De Gea has tailed off massively. Chelsea paid nearly 80mil for their GK and he’s been average.

I get that he’s been poor, but changing Pickford now would be a waste of a chunk of our transfer kitty as a better replacement would cost a fortune and you’re not guaranteed for them to be as good as we would like. There’s other positions that need sorting before our GK.

We just really needed him to save one. It's probably going to be similar against the RS. We need that one big save.
That's the problem. it almost seems like every good effort on goes past him. Last night was a perfect illustration. When you're not a particularly good side and you're up against better opposition you really do need your top players and your keeper to perform at their peak. Pickford is failing in this regard. I can't remember the last truly unbelievable save he's produced.
