Hes not world class never will be nor will he be ever be as bad as some of you make out

He’s an average PL keeper, no argument there.

People expected more because of what we paid and he’s been disappointing. I watch us more than you do and I can tell you he doesn’t win us many points. He rarely makes saves that you wouldn’t expect him to, his distribution is very erratic, and his decision making is genuinely appalling. I don’t hate him or think he’s terrible, but a lot of the criticism is valid.

Unfortunately, he also comes across quite badly as a person, meaning the fans haven’t really taken to him. That means he gets much leeway than somebody people like. It’s the way of the world.

If you were at that game you will also have heard people saying ‘get it forward quicker’ to the defenders, ‘ ‘MOVEMENT’ to the attackers, ‘shoooooot’ to the midfielders and ‘make a sub’ to the manager. It’s just what fans do, I’m sorry your first experience of football wasn’t to your liking.

Your simplifying the situation to its bare bones.On the other hand Carlo doesn't need the money. He was very peed off with the second half against the RS Kids and much more of that sort of show and he could quite easily say 'I can do without this...Carry On Duncan.' He's used to dealing with top of the range players, and there is a reason that players become top of the range...they have dedication, desire, application and fight along with their talent. And don't belittle the forum, it acts as a sounding board of opinion. If you think its worthless, don't post.
