Vastly overrated.

To be honest it's very rare for an Everton player to annoy me, beyond being rubbish.

But there's something about this lad that just rubs me up the wrong way.

Defo be up for flipping him for a profit.

But that in itself is the problem.

Profit.

Are there any teams that could afford him, and need him.

The destination would have to appeal to pickford as well.

No one in the 'top 6' need him, as he isn't a better keeper than what they already have.

I don't see any of the other big teams in Europe, bar maybe inter as handanovic's replacement, being interested.

I think were stuck with him for a while.

Or we cut our losses and lose money on him.

In his defence he did make a very good save from Origi, although VAR would have ruled it out for offside had it gone in. The problem with Pickford is he is quite young and emotional. He lacks intelligence and good distribution (the gk for Leeds last night v Arsenal was really impressive). A good fella to study would be the guy at the other end on Sunday, who was calming the young defenders playing in front of him.

We would’ve probably won loads more with a better player in the team.
Like who?
If you were at that game you will also have heard people saying ‘get it forward quicker’ to the defenders, ‘ ‘MOVEMENT’ to the attackers, ‘shoooooot’ to the midfielders and ‘make a sub’ to the manager. It’s just what fans do, I’m sorry your first experience of football wasn’t to your liking.
Hilarious, I bet your one of those fans who think you could do better than everyone on the pitch and slate every poor pass. I’ll probably here you at the Brighton game

Dont worry a good Euros and CL clubs probably on the continent will be sniffing hes one of the few players you've signed you'll make a profit on
I think it'd have to be a Premier League club. The clubs on the continent that spend upwards of £30m on goalkeepers aren't going to want him.

I like him, he pulls off great saves and I can put up with the odd price of erratic behavior - small price to pay for his stopping ability. The short passing out is not his choice. He's told what to do more of by the manager.
I don't think any manager tells him to concede goals left right and centre.

I think he's my most disliked Everton player if I'm honest.
This is an absolutely ridiculous statement with Schneiderlin and other passengers still around.

Would I want to have a pint with Pickford? Probably not. But I honestly don't care about any of that. He's a very good keeper, not world class.

The stick this guy gets just b/c you lot don't like the cut of his jib is astounding

I'm a fan of Pickford. Makes countless smart saves.

He's very confident, to the point of almost arrogance. I don't mind that. He needs, especially in the position he is as GK, to be single-minded whilst on the pitch.

He'll make mistakes as all keepers do. He's 25 and done his major learning with us. It will be us that benefits in the next few years.
