Agree with this in the main. I'm not 100% on him as a shotstopper to be honest. He has real ability in that regard, I always fancy him to save pens and and he pulls off some great saves occasionally. I think a lot of just decent shots go past him though. Shots where you wouldn't say he should save it, but you think he definitely could save it, if you know what I mean. A lot of things that seem to get saved when we do them, end up in the back of the net when it's at the other end.As I said to someone else recently: Shot-stopping is not his problem, never has been. His highlight reel is outstanding. Where he falls down is his decision making, when to come off his line/stay in, command of the back line, etc. He tries to be a hero too often IMO. A maturity thing. A keeper should be a leader but he's childish. Lately the quality of his distribution is down too - too many punts out of touch which should never happen.
I agree with the poster upthread who thought that a little attitude was a good thing. There's a difference between nasty and petulant. As he gets older and more experienced I hope he'll move away from the latter.
We're on our 57th manager in the past ten minutes and we now have the guy who single handedly built the Apollo module and cures cancer with his gaze and we just got bossed by a bunch of children, so at some point you have to say it's the men on the pitch. Someone has to take charge out there. The keeper is a natural candidate. I'd like him to be someone who inspires/kicks the ass of other players, rather than needing such treatment himself.
I want to see Lossl regardless, The Brighton free kick still has me all kinds of f'd up.
Read a few reports today that Ancelotti has directed the board to "Find a new keeper"
My workplace blocks the website.... but its a artickle on "The Sun" titled, "Jordan Pickfords Everton place in doubt as Ancelotti orders board to find a new keeper in January Window." Really not much of the article and honestly not the most reliable group of reporters in my mind.Link them.

If it said it was warm outside I'd hoy a raincoat on before leaving the house... You wont be looking for a new keeper this month absolutely no chance. Imagine that someone gets paid for making crap up the life of a modern day journalist during the transfer window
unlikely this month but you have to admit pickford is under pressure due to his poor form and ADHD
Seen a few rumours knocking round that he was one of the players that gave it back at dunc after the derby, if so that might’ve made him more of a priority of getting to fuq.I cant say I am a massive fan of him, I think he has too many flaws, but he is probably way down on the list of problem areas we have right now.
Where is Lossl? didnt he play first team for Huddersfield ( i know i know) and was supposed to be No.2 and actually put pressure on Pickford?
