In all honesty, I don't like short goalkeepers. I knew against Leicester we'd lose the penalties as they had giant Schmeichel in nets and we had shortarse Pickford. Add that to his cocky arrogant attitude and it makes for quite the unlikeable character.

I thought the 6 foot six inch, 19 year old Leeds keeper Illan Meslier had excellent distribution, good judgement and quick reactions tonight in the FA cup, he was unlucky for the Arsenal goal. It's rare to see such a good performance from such a young keeper. Leeds were unlucky to lose, Arsenal were helped by the officials, especially the United fan Taylor.

Bring in Dean Henderson as double competition. Lose you job at your club and you'll lose it for country as well.

Didn't Pickford save a penalty? England did ok on the back of him doing the same not his fault Tosun and Baines messed up their lines in the shoot out

We have bigger problems than pickford at the moment, not a fan as i think he has stagnated , would take Pope off Burnley if we had a chance commands his box better than most in the prem.

I like him, he pulls off great saves and I can put up with the odd price of erratic behavior - small price to pay for his stopping ability. The short passing out is not his choice. He's told what to do more of by the manager.

As in most of my posts I like a taller keeper. He didn't command his box at all, takes up bad positions and is erratic which causes jitters in the defence. But as some others have said he is not are biggest problem at the moment. See if he improves ny in the next couple of years. Needs to train hard though. Too manager e.g klopp, pep don't think twice if the goalie isn't good enough. Ancellotti will be the same
