For every good save he has made I can remember three mistakes; his job is to make the saves and not make the mistakes. One or two is ok, eight or nine is not.

The problem many on here have though,is they say hes making a mistake all the time-when he clearly was not [some say hes never made saves that have a game changing effect when he has] -just so they can have the daily moan,even the odd one or two on here after just 1 season,that been the one he got actual awards from Everton fans said get rid.

He is just shockingly bad. His inflated ego has no place here and it is an embarrassment that the Silva/Moshiri regime has left.no alternative to him.

Sorry but that is nonsense - he should be saving about 10% more shots than he does (to reach the average stats), that would be about 8 - 10 does less conceded this season, along with this look at the 4 individual errors (Just PL) he has been responsible for. Add the lack of trust the back 4 have in him & you are probably talking about a 12 - 15 goal swing over a season, not One or Two goals

When we bought Pickford and Keane we rejoiced in possibly having England's defensive backbone for the foreseeable.
Between the two of them, they have raised our hopes, and dashed them almost at the same time with what appear to be the most basic of errors.
With Pickford it will be down to Southgate. He has had a relatively less error strewn period when playing for his country, and I think this is what could tip things in Pickford's favour.
There again we could do what we do best as fans, and that is hope none of our players get picked for the national side so we can have a pop at what side the red tops have shouted from the back pages should be selected.

But if Southgate has also seen enough and does ditch him, it’s surely the beginning of the end for JP here, do you think?

Well that’s just tosh, very few teams play a consistent back 4 these days, also as a defensive unit we give up amongst the fewest chances in the league aswell as the second fewest shots from outside the area yet he has one of the worst save percentages aswell as the most goals conceded from outside the box which points to him behind the issue. Not to mention the amount of individual errors he’s made since he’s been here

This is also been said many times-up to around a month ago that most of the chances we give up though not as many as others are classed as really good chances and we have more so called good chances v us than most [how ever thats worked out]-whatever way people will always go either way on him
 
thats right @HeadieTwo i grassed u real good and will do it again u useless bucket of tommy robinson slop. pickford is a good goalkeeper for the level of the everton right now guys and should get better as u hope the everton will.

If we go and conceed 15 more goals in 10 games which is easily possible with us-one or 2 may end an error which we dont know what will happen in next few months-why would that be classed as error rate ? Are we classing every goal we conceed as errors from him even when like before some are not [while yes some are] but not as many as people make out
