Why hasn't Silva noticed and instructed the goalkeeping coach accordingly? Digne and Seamus both had a dig at him for that! What annoys me with him is he seems to find it almost amusing when he makes a mistake, happened two or three times on Sunday - not sure whether its a sign of nerves or false bravado!

I've said before, the big problem with this is that there's no rhyme or reason to his decision making. If he always stayed or always came out then it's not ideal but you can defend accordingly. The opposition could play the exact same ball in the exact same scenario 10 times and he'll come for 5 and stay for 5. The defenders hate it because they've got no idea what's going to happen.

I suspect part of it is down to put it politely that - "he isn't the brightest bulb on the tree" to keep it seasonal!

Too cocky for his own good. Can stop a shot but Stevie Wonder has more box awareness.

Thats not a euphemism.
 
It is all Pickford's fault. Seriously, there is a clear lack of maturity in him which he will not acquire until a few more years have passed. Most top goalies are of a mature age.

Why in gods name would you run back to goal for this, If he was running to the ball when the pass was played it was cleared of danger, 3 of our defenders are basically telling him to come out as well, Luckily we got away with it.

Don't think it's nerves or bravado. I just think he thinks that he is a superb keeper and doesn't need to get advice off anyone. You can that as he keeps making the same mistakes
 

I said here after his arsing with the Barcode fans up there and his gesturing/gurning that he needs properly telling to concentrate on his game with no distractions. Watch the tunnel too before the players emerge... hes practically bouncing round hyper like a riprap swigging sports drinks. Cut it out.
