There’s very little we can do the RS need to come out and say something which of course they won’t. They’re onto a right winner here, they’re totally appeasing the fans and they’re going to get every refereeing decision and stop teams tackling their players in the coming games

I do find it strange that Henderson still hasn’t been called out on his cheating allegations. Seen managers given fines and touch line bans for saying as much over the years. We had Ancelotti sent off and given a ban just for asking the referee why our goal against Utd was over turned last season.

Is it a case of we’ll drop this if you drop that?

I know there’s little can be done I’m looking at Everton blacking out certain outlets within the media for their dangerous rhetoric, not only has it led to death threats but now the rest of the media will be watching our games closely now and will look to attach a dangerous play mentality to our club and pick at us. See how quick that bloat head Paul Merson was to have a dig on Sky the other night followed by Stelling ‘That tells you all you need to know’.

If we roll over and let them tickle our belly we’ve shot ourselves in the foot massively.

Do your own research. It was stated on the BBC the next day. Why are you so insistent it should be a red? Game was nearly a week ago now. Weird you are still pushing him to have been sent off.

Bore off - I'm pushing for him to be sent off or that it should have been a red. I simply replied to someone who didn't understand the rules & explained it.

I would you love you to source that - I don't get how anyone can review and not come to conclusion it was a red, fair play if they did

Looks like you are pushing for him to have got a red card....

You're right, I'm actually an undercover spy hoping that Niel Swarbrick is a member here & I am going to use the power of GOT to change the course of history by getting Jordan Pickford banned.

Alternate view, someone said he couldnt be sent off under the rules of the game, I pointed out this was incorrect & he could have. No agenda or campaign. Grow up

it’s dead weird that I can’t remember son getting this media backlash last year. He actually did go to intentionally bring down a player and not play the ball. He may not have meant for a leg break to happen but he went in to play the man, from behind and with no chance of winning the ball

As did Robertson on Allan, but not seen a single mention of that in any part of the media!

Anyone who can wind up the scummiest football club on the Planet along with the scummiest fanbase on the Planet and send the entire main stream and social media into massively exaggerated, unobjective and unjustified hysterical rectums just by accidentally injuring a proper scumbag of a player who had already shown his malicious intent in the first 2 minutes is alright as far as i am concerned. In fact give him a contract extension so long as it is written into it that he must suck them all in again at some point.

Has been the funniest week in ages.

Come on you blue beat boys.

The Athletic reported they had looked at it.

They obviously looked at it, and came to the conclusion that given the refs whistle went serious foul play was no longer an option. It wasn't violent conduct.

Had it not been offside, there is obviously a different discussion, and probably on balance he gets a red card. It is less of a Red Card than Mane and Robertson's fouls mind.

Son's tackle was much worse and actually leg to a leg/ankle snap. It was also worth because it was calculated, whereas Pickford's was typically thoughtless and clumsy.

How old are you? Just dumb I suppose.

Lol

Someone is in a bad mood.

Just having a little sarcasm with the massive overreaction to a pure and unfortunate football play that led to an injury has gotten. The media and Liverpool players and even Klopp have gone out there to make it look as if Pickford is a goon and was trying to hurt VVD. That the rules get bent against them. The full victim syndrome display.

So yes, I am having a little fun being sarcastic with their moronic reaction. Too bad it got your panties in a bunch.

I think this could be a turning point for him.

The fans and the media were already against him due to his poor performances, but I know he had to also feel that he was losing the trust and confidence of the club, his coach, and his teammates. At least now he has the full support of his team and will be eager to try to prove people wrong.

Humans are strange beings and we all get motivated by different things. Maybe this is one of those things that instead of destroying him, will push him forward. Hopefully that's the case.
