Serious question though... is he making as many mistakes as he used to? I can’t remember the last error he made which led to a goal. I do have the memory of a goldfish though.

He has made many errors in many games but the defence has been brilliant hence has not led to a goal.

What you maybe should be asking when was the last time he turned 1 point into three, or no points into one.

Use olsen until the summer. When the Barcodes get relegated, we should have a look at darlow. (Dubravka is also a good keeper and is only out of the team after his injury because darlow has been class)

i fully know he’s a liability. If I wasn’t willing to let the derby judge my opinion of him, then the final straw for me was Newcastle away where he was trying to get some kind of pantomime villain.

Lucky not to be sent off, then starts doing stupid things and we lose 3-2 having led 2-0.
Goalkeepers make mistakes, I respect that, but this lad doesn’t have the concentration to be a regular starter for a team fighting for Europe.

I personally think it was an unforgivable mistake in the derby that he's never recovered from, he's made far worse mistakes than Howard ever did. Howard should of done better with Lampards shot in the final, but he never made any mistakes as bad as in the derby. As you say with Pickford he just isn't an intelligent player and bit like Barkley and Deulofeu, they had the ablity to become world class just not the intelligence.
