I'm normally scathing of Pickford but for some reason I thought he did seem a bit calmer on Wednesday bar his his obvious error. I'm not as worried as i should be i suppose.

I think Ancelotti is smart enough to know Pickford is now a liability but he's also an asset he needs to protect financially.

We ain't ever seeing what we spent on him unless he pulls off some world class performances from now until seasons end.

Then straight to Atletico and offer them Pickford and a gazillion quid for Oblak

I’m pleased Pickford is playing today, yes he has an error in the week, but In general lately he’s been much better. As an example alisson for them lot lost them points against Burnley, all keeper make mistakes I just hope Pickford in the week was like the one they have now and then. I’m not atm grouping that one with the constant ones he was making earlier in the season and before that. If he does do it again then I’ll certainly think again.

Part of me expects that the opposition may have played a part in Carlo's decision as I'm sure Pickford will want to play this game more than ever.

Perhaps, the decision to have drop him today would have made him finally realise that he has to improve; I worry when ever he plays against them.
