Forever, it takes him off the list forever.I did see that. Still think he's a good keeper but that'll have him off the list for a bit.
We don't want drug cheats at Everton, this ain't the MLB.

How silly of you to become snotty. The point I was making was that while there is an argument that Oblak is currently the best goalkeeper in the world, his impact on goakeeping simply does not compare to Neuer's - and that's as much to do with Neuer's redefining of the position as his success for top class national and club sides. The fact that he has redefined the role AND won the biggest titles with the biggest sides simply copper-fastens his influence. Marc-Andre ter Stegen, like Oblak, has also had his international opportunities curtailed (in his case due to the preeminence of Neuer). Yet, he has also been more influential (if not better) than Oblak, simply because that's the way the goalkeeping role has developed. How silly of Oblak not to win a World Cup with Slovenia when Neuer was out here carrying the minnows Germany to a title.
I don't think using team achievements is a good barometer of an individual's ability to play football. So while Neuer redefining the position is a great point stating he won the world cup in the same breath is meaningless. How silly of you to become snotty. I like Oblak a lot. He is a classic old-school keeper, superb at what were the basics of the game. But goalkeeping, rightly or wrongly, has changed, and has become more than simply shot stopping and commanding the six-yard box. I'm not saying I prefer the "modern" goalkeeper, nor even Neuer over Oblak. Instincitvely, I prefer goalkeepers to be more about their hands than their feet, so I tend to favour Oblak over the sweeper keepers. What I am saying is that in the modern game, Neuer is arguably the greatest exponent of the position as it has now evolved.
RIP our European dreams.Lads here to stay, suck it up meat heads
Watch our last game against Utd mateI am truly astounded at the knowledge and recommendations of so many top class keepers from overseas quoted on here. I have counted at least 6 over several pages of threads. I take my hat off to your diligence and dedication which I am sure would be valued by those responsible for replacing Olsen and Pickford. Frankly, I would stick with Olsen until he gives very good reason for getting rid.
A goal, like one single goal?Watch our last game against Utd mate
bad enough to be as indecisive as to charge out then stop half way but then to retreat then charge again, it’s like he’s doing the hokey cokey, brain dead idiot
