My eyes mainly.
Do you have the statistics that prove him to be the ‘worst keeper in the league’ or is that just reductionist hyperbole?
Oh come on mate you don't need stats, We watch him every week. He has been given way more chances than he's deserved if it was a top team he would have been benched yonkers ago.

Any other opposition that could of cost us last night. Even Palace the weekend or West Ham next week we as a team will get punished for them mistakes.

Its true, I remember being at the youth FA cup final with a girl who hated footy, we were (both!) only about 15 but I remember her saying that franny jeffers is an arrogant tit. I scoffed at her as he was the best player on the park but something must have stuck out about that I ignored. Fair play to me though I've hated pickford from the start

I was thinking this the other day.

I remember my partner picking up on Martinez early. Shesaid something like "why are they wasting time passing to each other" and I said something akin to "he's getting us to play like Barcelona" and she sort of scoffed and went "whats the point in doing that, it will never work, you're players aren't that good". I spent about 20 minutes arguing/getting irate with her that it was a good iodea, and she just didn't know/understand football. In the following months/years I know which one of us was proven correct haha!

Agree mate - if a top keeper is out of the question financially this summer then for me:

Sign Romero as a steady eddie this summer

Sell Pickford next summer to a Brighton/Leeds type club and reinvest in a top GK.

Martinez whos just gone to Villa would have been a massive upgrade as well, but we should be all over Romero now, 3rd choice at United and he's a good keeper!

still think their second goal was way worse than the first.
The second goal was an overhead kick from about two yards, he did well to even get his hand up , if it had been cleared it would have been described as a wonder save.

The first goal was the real error, he needs to realise that sometimes just clearing your lines is enough and the manager was certainly right in sharing the blame with Keane who helped land his goalkeeper in trouble with a poor pass back.

It led to that point because he hesitated in the first place. Shouldn't have.

Yeah the back pass was poor and put Pickford under pressure BUT before he took that stupid touch the situation was still under control, he just needed to boot it away first time but seemed completely unaware that there was a player coming in from his left as he took the touch
