Surely you would be rating Pickford equally with the average ones? Come on fella, you have dug this “average at best” hole so why not at least have the decency and bravery of your conviction to rank those keepers? It would tell me and everyone else if you had a clue about what good goalkeepers and bad goalkeepers are, but you have dodged it. This can only lead me to believe you have a deep rooted issue with Jordan which has nothing to do with goalkeeping at all.
So if you really believe what you keep pedalling let’s have it. Dodge the question again and it will tell me all I knew about you anyway.
Pickford, Keller, Howard, Martyn, Friedel, Southall….

If you look at the four Everton keepers he is worst of the four. The nearest to him would be Tim Howard only because of his later years.
He is a good shot stopper but he has to make far to many double saves for my liking, far to keen to punch the ball out when he should be catching it
As for the goal I wouldn't blame him for it but he could of reacted a lot quicker.

Yeah that's exactly my point. Except I disagree about him being a good shot stopper. Good shot stoppers aren't always near the top of the league for allowing goals outside the box for example.

Mate it's Southall, big gap, Martyn, reasonable gap, Pickford, Howard and Friedel in a cluster and then a big gap to Keller. So sure Pickford is better than all the Americans and still average.
 
Kinda sad the improvement this.lad has made and there's so many concerns going on at Everton it's gone under the radar.

He definitely made a big deal of it when he was making howlers

He has improved, no doubt about it. He used to be consistantly bad, now he isnt. But he also isnt consistantly good. Iguanas got some dead weird view on some players, but hes not wrong about Jordan.

One of the things I'll always find weird is how utterly offended some people get at the suggestion that the team sitting 16th or whatever we are might not have that much talent even among the players that are better.
 

I’m going full sooper bloo and demanding he be dropped due to having a bad game despite him not playing.
