The Newcastle goalie is so much taller than Pickers, and as above is clearly highly rated by some on GOT. And yet... he can't dislodge the current England keeper? Oh, he did play one England game recently when the current England keeper was injured, and the Newcastle keeper made a terrible schoolboy error and threw the game away. He left the pitch with his head down and hasn't been picked since.
 
This guy has never been good enough for us. I have said this for years and years. If someone offered us 40m for him I would take it in a heartbeat. That first goal in the derby was Jordon Pickford in a nutshell. He’s reliable with shot stopping and one on one’s but his decision making is just awful.

As far as I am concerned, he has cost us goals this season against United at home, Liverpool away, among more which I can’t even be bothered researching anymore. To me, he already looks like he’s out of the door. Get him gone asap. Just awful.

Sterling gets in the England team ahead of Rashford, I guess he’s the better player.

Pope has proven himself the best keeper in the Premier League this season in absolutely every possible metric, but feel free to continue living in a delusional fantasy world.

Research them, then research other Everton goalies and you'll find plenty of mistakes there too.

Pickford has made more mistakes leading to goals than any Everton keeper in my lifetime and I’m 37 years old. This is a fact.

Tim Howard made so many mistakes in some of his last few seasons that I began to question whether having no goalkeeper would be more effective. People just forget.

Ultimately people are harsher on Pickford than most other Everton keepers because they’re told to be so by the media who hate him for what happened with Van Dijk and hate the fact that he keeps some of their goalkeepers from more favoured teams out of the England side. Load of sheep.

He basically kept us up last season and yet has a load of Everton fans who can’t wait for him to make a mistake to show everyone how edgy they are by piling in on him.

If we put our entire squad up for sale tomorrow he’s the first one that would be snapped up and at a far higher price than anyone else would command. Being one of our best players though isn’t enough for the super bloos who can’t wait to tell you how Allison and Nick Pope are the only decent keepers in the world. Ffs.

No he hasn't
Leno, Alisson, Kepa and Neto are all ahead of him for xG prevented...then comes Pope, then comes Pickford
