I couldn't care less about how many mistakes Lloris makes. I support Everton and the fact remains that Pickford makes far to many. It's not only the glaringly obvious ones that lead to goals which is quite often the case. It's other mistakes which puts the defence in danger. His twitchiness. He comes for a cross then back peddles. He punches when he could easily catch. He tries to catch when he should punch. His footwork at times is awful. Sometimes when you watch him go for a low ball he appears to fall flat instead of diving and consequently has to Parry when he could smother the ball and keep hold of it. Most of these so called world class saves he makes are saveable by any top class keeper. Yes he makes the odd world ie but so do all the others. I want my keeper to get the basics right first and foremost any worldies he makes is a bonus. I just don't understand the love in.
I think the fact he gets such a hard time in the press makes us stick up for him. He's the one player we have that's constantly talked about.

erratic for the second game in a row.

He’s a good keeper but that’s about it to be honest. If Spurs or United wanted him in the summer I wouldn’t be standing in their way.

How? He’s on Tottenham’s list to replace Lloris

Currently the most valuable player in the squad and a good World Cup could see him move onto a bigger club in the summer.

Funny thing is Spurs want Pickford to replace Lloris.

His contract is up at the end of last season.

Theres been no word of a new deal.

Need to pray he has a great world cup and we can sell him for over £40mil in Jan.

Come summer we'd be lucky to get £20mil.

Big Oil ain’t a red, he just isn’t very educated about football and relies on stats to give him his information.

He hates everything about Everton (and not in the way everyone else does) and will die on a hill for Thiago and Allison. If he’s not a red he’s doing a very good job at impersonating one.

Hes by far the best Keeper we could attract as a club.

Only one I've seen, while at the club, capable of that scrambling save against Chelsea last season. I'm sure Nev was in his prime but everyone else since, no chance. Having said that, what got him there to be able to make the save is one of the first attributes to take an unavoidable hit. Sell, no...look for a long-term replacement, yes. Will we? Questionable. Why? Because all we do is run around putting out never-ending spot fires in our tinderbox forest.

Selling Pickford isn't a bad idea as he could fund a couple of new players
