It’s been a while since thread has gone completely off the rails criticizing our most valuable and important player over the last few seasons. You dorks will be humbled again shortly.
It's incredible isn't it mate. They've been lurking for years and now out they've crawled.

If you think Pickford is an issue at Everton I don't mind saying that you know absolutely FA about football.

Made a few great saves and don't put either of the 1st or 2nd goals on him. He was terrible for the 3rd, obviously.

What I do think is that he's been erratic now for the last few weeks. That's not to say he's been bad, just that there's been some of the old tendencies creeping back into his game and he's much better when he's just calm and collected and getting on with it.

First mistake he’s made leading to a goal in a long time. What does annoy me is that when he’s clearly made an error, instead of just owning it he marches round finger pointing at other players as if they were responsible for him not just booting it up the pitch a bit quicker!

I think his constant gesticulating and arm waving is some sort of motivational technique he does to gee himself up. When he has a bad game like he did tonight it makes him look an absolute moron.

And yes, that was out of order and I suspect there was an apology behind closed doors.

Still, tonight was the exception rather than the rule. Hopefully had his 1 bad game for the foreseeable.

If you're going to get anything against City you need your keeper to be faultless and tonight he wasn't.

A bad performance by one of our best players and one of the leaders in the team. He'll be as unhappy with that performance as any of us are. On to the next match.

There's a good way of saying it. He calmed down significantly the last 18 months or so, Tarkowski basically pushed him away in the lead up to the goal because he was yelling at everyone.
