I was a bit confused, thinking Ritchie never played for Newcastle? Then realised it's Matt Ritchie not our Richarlison

IMO, the two best keepers in the Prem are Pickford and Martinez of Villa. Interesting that BOTH are disliked by most pundits and journos. When they make great saves and/or penalty saves, even then they usually only get begrudging praise. I think it is because they are both seen as "loons" and neither play for the "big" clubs. Their faces don't fit. Thoughts?

That makes him the best we have ever had, because (and I am amazed that you don't know this) football only started and counts in the Prem/Sky era.

…terrific stuff, I immediately thought of the late penalty Cleverley missed for Watford in the Park End but I suppose if the taker misses the target it doesn’t count as a ‘save’?

I think that’s a bit unfair because a keeper can intimidate the opponent in that situation.
