Yeah mate, 100% is. Seen plenty of both to judge.
You couldn't have. Him saving a lot of shots at a team like Sunderland isn't a great way to judge a keeper.

And he just hasn't been with us long enough but so far Robles record is far superior. However a bit like Niasse, he had a poor first couple of games and everyone wrote him off.

But it's irrelevant now. Robles is just waiting for his contract to run down so he can go back to Spain. This decision is done and dusted.

And baines and jagielka have deteriorated due to age.

Defence is a slower, more ponderous and less able unit than last year.
Baines and Jags were awful last season. If they had of been any other two players they would have got slated. Even now people don't want to talk about Baines.

Baines hasn't been right since his ankle injuries.

Robles record is "superior" because he's played about 40 more games for Everton than Pickford has, whereas if you actually watch matches and pay attention to goalkeepers and their respective strengths/weaknesses rather than just look at a goals conceded column, you'll see with your own eyes who the better goalkeeper is.

He's like Big Nev without the tashe. The way he was diving about and rushing about the box towards the end. The corner he took was quality. He's going to be great when the rest of the team sort themselves out.

Tbf, watching the match I see Pickford picking the ball out of the net every 30 odd minutes.

Jokes aside, I genuinely thought joel did really well last season and absolutely did not deserve to be dropped from the squad in the manner it happened. He grew as a keeper, and did everything we wanted - made saves, showed passion, claimed crosses etc.

To be honest the way Robles has been treated is terrible, from both Koeman and Martinez, dropping in for an awful Howard soon as he was fit again, Koeman playing his Dutch mate ahead of him, pathetic, we have lost out on a small fee we could of got for this guy

We don't need the fee though he's a more than capable no2, and could be our first choice and wouldn't have impacted our season one bit

Blah blah blah blah. Your knowledge is just so much superior.

I still think Robles is just as good. The difference is certainly not worth paying an extra 30m for and the only reason we did was Koeman wanted to bin of all the Martinez men.

What happened last season? Stek was rubbish. Eventually Joel got a chance. Run of clean sheets. He made a couple of mistakes. Stek came in again and was again rubbish. Eventually Joel got a chance. Run of clean sheets. Still was replaced with someone younger and less experienced keeper.
