Yes he did, hasn't performed like that for Everton though yet has he?

Robles made plenty of fine saves for Everton and won us points in the process.

Pickford won us 2 points on the opening day for a start, saving from Shaqiri in the last minute. He made a number of saves against Man City at both 0-0 and 1-0 to contribute to us getting a point. Also stopped us going 2-0 down against Bournemouth in a game we could not afford to lose when Defoe was completely clean through. He stopped us going 2-0 down at Brighton with two saves just before we got our penalty in the last minute.

So I make that around 8 points he's earned us this season, actually. We only have 12 in total.

Thank god for Jordan Pickford lads.

you'd be happy to have him as our number one ?

id say Pickford has kept our goals against tally half respectable this season. we would be 10 goals worse off if we had an average keeper.

Alright but you're acting like Robles never ever ever made a save for us that resulted in anything similar? Which is simply not true. For example Middlesborough away he made a fantastic save from a bullet header in the dying moments to secure a point and that is literally the first thing that came to my head... there are plenty more scenarios.

The stoke save was a good one my friend, came along way and Pickford did well. He will receive credit where it's due and certainly has so.

The bournemouth one was a good save, but saying that Robles or even Howard couldn't have possibly made that save is mad which is how I feel people are trying to make it seem. It was a good save that contributed to our fight back, credit where it's due.

In no other game has he done anything to really earn us points, and whilst it's not expected every game - for such an unbelievably fantastic goalie in the eyes of evertonians - he has not yet given us a performance where we draw 0-0 and it was all him saving us? Giving us something to build on for example.

I'm waffling a bit here like but I cba repeating myself too much when I quite explicitly explained the problem I'm seeing in a prior post some days back in regards to his kicking, parries etc

barring Pickford, who lets face it, has been sold a pup.

Squad is worse yeah but apparently we've got some of the best runners in the team now y'know doing all the hard work and the pressing.

Supposedly Keane was an upgrade but the lads a liability etc
