But, seriously do people actually believe Pickford is really a great keeper?!

Having watched every minute of every game he's played, I'd say he's been by a distance the best English keeper in the league this season - he isn't at the level of De Gea or even Courtois (yet), but he's been tremendous for most of the season. I could probably count his mistakes on two or three fingers so far

Red here, and I remember being told here that Picfkord is better than De Gea. Now, I like taking the piss a bit with you lot. But, seriously I think even without bias, you might need an upgrade on Pickford. His reputation is better than his real game. Seems just like Mignolet if I am honest.

The problem Pickford has is that we have a defence that is by far the worst I’ve seen in years. Years of allowing it to become aged and lack of investment have caught up. Keane was the first time we have spent big on a defender and typically it’s not worked out yet

i just can't see how people are saying his distribution is good.
Most of the time he over hits it - out of play or beyond the striker.
Very inconsistent

Dunno what's been said prior but he needs to stop palming the ball directly back into the danger area. He has repeatedly done so since he came, today yet another example which we were lucky not to concede from. We have been lucky it's not cost us more. It's a concerning habit in what has otherwise been an excellent season for him.

As far as I am concerned I am not worried about the goalkeeper he is at 23, but excited to see the keeper he will be in 5 years.

He may make mistakes but the lad is 23 ffs. Could well be our goal keeper for 15 years if he looked after himself so, so what if ge makes the odd mistake in his first 6 months?
