I remember a moment in the game before RFM came on, someone played a ball back to him and he took a touch then smash it up the pitch. There was a really simple ball back to Keane who was in space.
Is he told to ignore these passes? Is he worried Keane won't control and it'll come back as a chance?

What's all this distribution nonsense. He is a goalie FFS. Majority of goalies play punts up the park so that is not distribution really it's 50-50.
Any keeper can roll it out to a defender waiting by the box with no pressure on him so that applies to all.
All of a sudden we are expecting 50 -60yd volleys to the attacker to count as distribution!!!! Keepers try it but it is still a percentage ball yet Pickford is better than most at it.....but we want him to be better? It's ridiculous to expect 100% accuracy from any keeper. Pickford is good at spotting an opportunity and attempt it but we cannot expect it to come off all we can do is hope it comes off. Being a bit harsh on Pickford and expecting miracles. His major attribute is how he does between the posts and that is a huge thumbs up from me. He just needs a better defence in front of him or people will use the pathetic unrealistic stats of conceded goals. The only stats that are needed are how many goals against were his fault.

Saved us yesterday pleasing to see he came and punched the ball well for a long time he has been too static on his line his distribution was poor though!
