Unlucky with the penalty, didn't place a foot wrong otherwise. thought he chose well on whether to pick out a defender or whether to go long (boot it out after one fairly dodgy backpass which was nice to see).

I actually have some hope with him that he may save a penalty, he seems fairly strong mentally in that regard. Which is nice.

At home to the geordies he was a bit mental sprinting out to the touch line, but maybe there is method in his madness. He seems to read the opposition quite well (Joel's biggest downfall for me, he never predicts where the shot is going correctly, sometimes even seems to dive out of the way)
