I was waiting for thatlol he actually conceded against panama
He didn't have a chance on that goal. Defenders let him down there, much like his club side.....
What were they doing? Just stood there.
The majority of the best keepers in the world currently are around his age though so that's bsLike I said, they hung him out to dry. Something Everton's defenders did with regularity last season. I just don't get all the hate on Pickford. Don't understand it at all. Players reach their prime at later ages the farther back they play. That's why your top goalkeepers are almost always in their mid- to late-30s. Pickford is still learning his trade; put a competent defence in front of him and he'll thrive without the pressure of having to singlehandedly produce a clean sheet.

Courtouis is a mere 2 years older and at pickfords age de gea was already one of the best keepers on the planet. Take away neur and the rest you've listed though an improvement of Pickford aren't anything special.OK, let's take a look at some of the more well-known keepers at the World Cup -- DeGea is 27, Courtois is 26, Patricio is 30, Schmeichel is 31, Neuer and Akinfeev are 32. All older than Pickford; at this stage, two or three years of experience make a world of difference. Buffon recently hung up his international boots at the age of 40. Southall was 36 when we won the 1995 FA Cup; Peter Shilton was 29 and 30 when Forest won their European Cups.
I'm more than willing to give Pickford the time to develop. You're not, fair enough.

The point was most of the worlds most in demand keepers at the minute are of similar ager or the same age, donurumma, allison, ederson, oblak. The whole 'he's young' excuse doesn't wash
Same old excuses. Never his fault at Sunderland, comes to Everton, never his fault here, plays for England, never his fault for them. Funny how conceding goals follow him around. Are they playing behind defences as porous as Everton's or Sunderland's? Never mind, don't answer; it's clear we disgaree when it comes to Pickford. Do me a favour, though -- bash him all you want, but keep schtum when he makes a brilliant save.
