The last 10-15 pages reiterate that members on this forum should be made to put their keyboards away after a few gargles. Honestly, there are some seasoned forum posters who have let themselves down very badly here. Still a good read mind!

Also JP couldn't leave that ball even if it was going wide. It was too close to call therefore he made a worldie. That's OUR boy!

And he stuck it right up 'em in the interview. Class!

It's time to name names buddy.

Written by Dave 'Can I just borrow that' Prentice.

We've all seen it about 100,000 times already, and on a replay seconds after, or on twitter etc etc
not sure any save from a shot about 30 yards out should be considered the greatest save ever, it was a fine stop that showed considerable athleticism and he had a very good game, but you expect your keeper to not be beaten from there all day long

Well according to lad in work, Pickford should have let that rocket of a shot alone, as it was missing the target.
By default therefore, he was to blame for the corner and the equaliser.
Aforementioned kid also said the best save he's seen in his life was the Henderson effort, whereas our Jordan's save was pure reactive.
I haven't got the time to debate the matter with him.
I honestly worry for some people. Nobody and i mean nobody in real time would have thought anything other than it was going in. It was a world class save, which he was right to do.

I've been pointing out to deluded kopites this morning that:

1) if you think he should risk the ball nestling in the top bin/cannoning of the post/licking the paint off the post on the way by, rather than concede a corner, then you are an idiot.

2) That save alone matched David De Gea's total saves for the tournament. Indeed Pickford quadrupled DDG's tournament total in the one game.

3) His penalty save bailed out your captain's error. So pipe down.

Basically our neighbours are jealous of us having Pickford, that is it.

When playing for England everything is overanalysed and magnified then either hyped up or ripped apart. Last game he was ripped apart last night he was overhyped. It's a circus.

In real time that shot just came from nowhere flying into the top corner and Pickford has literally defied gravity putting it round the post.

Jumped out my seat, and he’s just gone up another level in one moment.

Air Jordan Jr.

You win tournaments and/or trophies with world class players. Pickford's saves last night were world class. Anyone who argues against that is either willfully ignorant or disingenuous.

Consistently pulling out performances at that level sorts the wheat from the chaff. Goalkeepers know goalkeepers, if both Southall and Shilton are both on the same hymn sheet, take notice.

Besides Kane last night, Pickford looked head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch. If he can keep that going, we've got a talent on our hands.

Keeping world class players is another issue, the sooner we start keeping them, then we'll start competing again.

That’s his ‘Banks’ moment if England go on to win the bloody thing.
