Reading comprehension is a problem on forums, and I'll admit that I am guilty of misinterpreting things at times. It happens.

Analyzing what I saw is not picking holes in a players game. He missed two clear-cut volleys and Darth noted his missed header was well off target. Nobody wrote him off so calm down.

I'm calm, if you pick holes in a 16 year olds game after playing in a pre season game in which he had only just met his team mates, then its a toolish and stupid thing to do.

The two volleys, we didnt actually see how close the cross was to him. He didnt get on the end of either so unfair to say he missed two clear cut volleys. At least one of them looked too far ahead for him to connect.

I could put a positive spin on it all I want, but I was fairly unbiased and gave an accurate representation of what I saw for people who didn't want to drudge through 45 minutes of boredom. The run around the 34 minute mark was promising. I'd like to see more of that

Just think people are being guilty of over analyzing a 16 year old, there's a reason that we don't see much of our under 18s and under, as its to stop just that.

He did some good things, he looked like a young lad whose just met his team mates for a pre season friendly game.

This is fair. It seemed like he reacted late to the crosses. Like you said though, we don't actually know how close they were. I really think he should have buried the first one though

I just don't see the worth in over analyzing a 16 year old.

Like I say I think anyone picking holes in his game is a silly thing to do, you can do whatever you want, its a forum for people to discuss, its just my opinion its not worth going in depth about his performance either way considering all the other factors.

My first impression is he looks SUPER RAW... which is okay because he is 16. I need to see more of him. Toffeepot hit the nail on the head- he was fresh off a flight and into the first team.

I won't hold my breath, but it would be nice to see a few more of these "good young prospects" that we sign make it into the first team. We have had one or two, holgate and stones, but most of them never get into the first team
