After hearing what Mourinho said about Rooney, and the fact they've just signed Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan, I think we can be 99.9% sure Mata will be leaving. No way will he spend a season sat on the bench. Time to start believing. He's ours.

Koeman sets up in either a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 more often than not, so probably on one of the wings or as the No.10 depending on the opposition.

However, people are getting too tied down with 'where would he play'.

If he signs, he will be our primary playmaker. Everything will go through him.

To that extent, it won't really matter where he plays as he'll be given a free role to pick up the ball and pull the strings.
