To be honest I dont want to get into Moshiri's wealth too much, we need him to use his expertise to develop the club internally, to be able to stand on our own two feet one day as a European superpower. Moshiri's money will just help speed it up a little bit.....
 
The club needs Mata to drop because he sets the wheels in motions for the rest of the summer transfers but frankly a £50M package seems a lot to buy in experience who may only affect a handful of games in a long season.

Still it,s not my money.

So true. Has the site had a sudden influx of 16-year olds since Moshiri arrived, I wonder?

Funny thing is mate, a 50m package is probably going to be one of the bargains of the summer in this league, when you see some of the silly fees going around already, Mane 36m ffs

think your right though, this and possibly the witsel deal right after (is he waiting to sign till he sees proof as well maybe) will be the catalyst for a lot of other deals we may want to make, both in and out

Why would he only affect a handful of games? He is a proven performer in the league and also at peak age. He is the central creative player we have been lacking for years.
 
A handful of games makes all the difference. Effect only 1 out of 10 games, get 3 points instead of 1, and you pick up 8 points. Do that a second time, and you pick up 16 points. Thats the difference between 11th and Europe.
