Well Pogba has now been done and confirmed so I wonder if that means anything in regards to Mata, cant believe they wont sell a few players at least to get some of that OTT fee back.
This one's as bad as the Moutinho one, for me...expecting the same result. Not that bothered, either way.
Love to have such a pretty man on our team but can't see it. Maybe a few years ago when we finished 5th but not to the current sub-Stoke Everton. Don't think Mata is looking for a project at this stage in his career sadly.
just looking at the squad i can see the following leave for biggish fees
januzaj - if townsend and matt ritchie went for 12 mil then no reason why man utd can't try and get 8-12 mil for januzaj
pereira - no idea - 2-3 mil?
fosu-mensah - meant to be decent for his age with potential - some lower prem league side will probably happily pay 5-10 mil for him
schweinsteiger - due to his age, injury record, lack of games and the fact he is on 150k a week, can't see anyone buying him - if schweiny is prepared to drop his wage demands he may go back to germany for 2-3 mil
tyler blackett - around 2-4 mil
paddy mcnair - around 3-5 mil
will keane - 6-8 mil
james wilson 5-10 mil
cameron jackson - 3-6 mil
just from those you are looking at 50 mil approximately
i think they will be tempted to sell fellaini though before mata
