judge us at the end of the transfer window – not now

I’m afraid I’m going to have to factor in being winless in our first 5 games due to having no striker as part of the grand judgement.

Said in the transfer thread. IF we bring a forward in tomorrow it’ll have been a decent window. A step in the right direction at least. However, it’s been done far too late that has caused us to drop points.

The window is still a 3/10 with no forward and a 5 or 6 with a good forward tomorrow

The fact we left the manager with virtually no chance in 5 games without a forward, means the window was far from a success
Hey, no judging yet, window's still open

Not getting a striker in till last Friday, and not being able to play him till this weekend is inexcusable, for that it’s a 6/10 maybe knock it up a couple points if we get another attacker tomorrow

If Gana and Garner plus a good attacker sign tomorrow and we don’t lose anyone good then we’ve had a really great window.
The problem is the window closed just before the SIXTH game of the season which is pathetic scheduling from the premier league and completely unnecessary.

Players like Onana and Garner could be top quality starters for years to come as could Gordon who we’ve kept hold of so we’ve (assuming nothing unexpectedly goes wrong tomorrow) had a very good window for the future but we’ve not had a good window regarding the start of this season.

With gana and garner we are pushing to have a pretty solid 7/10.

If we can get a wildcard winger/forward like that lad from Villarreal or someone similar I think it's pushing towards a 9/10.

I'm not sold on McNeil but think he's suited to someone like DCL being back. So hard to judge him fully.

Everyone else, happy days.

Wonderful to see everybody so grateful.

Still the worst run club in the league though.

Nice of them to their the fans an occasional bone to give us some optimism.
We’ve been run idiotically for years yeah but that doesn’t mean this window and the last window with Patterson and Mykolenko haven’t been successes in making our team better all over the pitch?

Aside from Pickford who didn’t need replacing we’ve signed a better team in two windows than we had before!

Pickford
Mykolenko
Coady
Tarkowski
Patterson
Onana
Gana
Garner
McNeil
Maupay
Tba - chukwueze maybe?

Oh of course we are, failure to get a striker in till last Friday shows there’s still massive issues but, barring a last second madness, Penfold seems to have kept his oar firmly out of any transfer business and we’re being more sensible with deals

I’ve learnt to judge any window once we have seen how the new players perform. No sooner.
And we still haven’t replaced Lukaku.

A 9? You are very easily pleased with lower mid table signing and couple of kids. It barely hits a 5
