Friend?
Barnsley owner in 2015
"We didn't know how good he was"
Get rid of that stupid player from your avatar.
That's how much we paid for him so it won't be 450k
It will either be 15 percent of the sale so 50m would be 7.5m
Or 15 percent of the profit which would be 50-3 (47) profit. 15 percent of 47, 7,050,000
If we sold for 50 mil of course
I think he means it's a 450k difference between 15% of the total sale price and 15% of the profit. Which is pretty much what you calculated. That's how much we paid for him so it won't be 450k

He's so great that Senegal or France never even tried to get him to play an international till he was 25. Considering, he is supposedly one of the best defenders in the world, not many people noticed.
Yeah loads of World Class defenders wait 3 years for a call up, its quite normal.
Meanwhile, while this fella was waiting for a French call up, Sakho was getting caps for giggles.
Add Sakho to the "better than World Class" list lads.
Howard Kendall never recieved an England cap mate, must have been pure crap by the same logic, Leon Osman on the other hand was a full England International.
Drogba was 24 when he recieved his first cap for the Ivory Coast, he was eligible for France as well but never recieved a call up (so exactly the same age and situation as with Koulibaly) - he wasn't exactly a bad player though, some may even have called him world class. Maybe it was the plethora of world class strikers they had up front that was the reason for the Ivory Coast...
BTW Koulibaly was born in June 1991, first cap for Senegal on sept 2015, means he had just turned 24
Drogba started his career at centre back, is this fella going to be a striker as well. No idea why you are bringing Howard Kendall into the equation and Osman, players from two different generations but hey ho?? It proves something in your head.
Think he's trying to say sometimes class players get overlooked for their national teams. Alan 'handball' Hansen arguably the best British defender of his generation only got 26 caps in his career. John stones is apparently worth 50m, but couldn't get in the England side this summer. Don't think it makes him a worse player, just that we had a manager at the time who doesn't recognise class or know is best 11. Back to koulibaly lets get this sorted ASAP, we desperately need another quality centre half to replace stones.Drogba started his career at centre back, is this fella going to be a striker as well. Nah mate it proves nothing at all, just like using any stat about international call ups actually matters rather than the quality of a player, never been one to decide on how good a player is on if he is called up by an international manager - have you?
Conte rates him highly, Moomin doesn't - know who my money would be on judging how good he is
