Transfer Rumour Kalidou Koulibaly

I have no doubt we, as a club, will be lessened by the sale of John Stones. He is a talent and will only get better in himself and will benefit from playing with better players. It is a shame that improvement will be for one of our competitors.
Unfortunately that is football, we have to move on and get the very best replacement we can, if it takes all the money City are prepared to pay then so be it, but get in proper talent,not a good Premiership centre half who has been about for years and hasn't let anyone down.
I think we are in a funny situation just now, we are trying to sell Everton to these players as being a good move for their career, they look at a team from the bottom half of the league with an aging stadium. If we manage to convince one "big name" to commit I think we may then attract others. Personally I would go after Mata,get a player of his standing and I think we could use him as an example of our intent.

Will Napoli really sell their 2 best players this Summer?

I doubt it.

:coffee::coffee::coffee:

Hamsik is probbaly in between those two i'd guess, and he is the 100% undellable one no doubt

Plus Koulibaly supposedly pissed the owner off a whilst back talking about not signing a new contract that made the owner spit out his dummy about losing them millions in sponsorship & endorsements etc

Interesting that their best player goes and he still wants to stay, good on him.

If Napoli are willing to sell, makes a lot of sense to talk up the chances of him signing a new contract and staying, just drives the price anyone will have to pay higher, theres a reason we arent making a song and dance about us being ok with stones leaving mate

Not sure they can drive the price any further. Over priced as it is

Loving the fact that even with links to arsenal chelsea and many others wanting his signature these so called "fast movers" in the market gavent purchased him yet

Makes me think we have more buying power for this particular position than other teams... We need a world class CB and if stones go's we need two... So in this position i dare say we'd be willing to pay well over asking price to secure him
