Sky here must know of our interest yet it would clearly be out of the question for them to acknowledge it.

This is a Chelsea story, and nothing else matters, not least journalistic integrity.

Of course, if KK ultimately joins them it will then be revealed that they have beaten Everton to his signature, and if we sign him it will be because Chelsea never wanted him in the first place.

It doesn't fit their rhetoric of Chelsea breaking back into the top to challenge.

God forbid we actually sign him, and others for large fee's, they will vilify us for spending so much money say we are ruining football.

Imagine if it was 3 players at once.... that totalled to like £80m worth of spending.....!?!!!!!

explosions all over the shop!

going away tomorrow and where I'm going the mobile connection is absolutely crap. Knowing my luck, after being on here day after day, hour after hour, the minute I get no connection we will go and bloody sign everyone and I will miss the fapfest

that's why these deals that we are supposedly in for big name players are taking so long mate.

if we had Europe they'd sign sharpish. As we've been tosh it's proving rather more difficult.

aye mate, all we can do is be patient and hope whoever is involved in discussions is doing his best Alan Partridge with the traffic cones trying to close the deal.

lollollol

Forever you will then have to go away during the transfer window!

Maybe he wants to go and play under guardiola, last season it was ABM, he has no attach, net to the club like we do, he doesn't care.
Why would he?

The sooner we start seeing players as employees and not idols or gods the quicker we'd accept they want a better job.

If you worked for a good, but mid ranking firm and were headhunter by a ftse 100 company offering literally double your wages and more opportunities for progression what would you do?
if I were the mid ranking company I would try and screw the bigger company for something way way above the targets real value and as bigger company is a direct rival of ours hope he fails spectacularly

Reacting to Chelsea's £38 million bid for Koulibaly, we've now offered £46 million?

why not offer £38.1m? that's what i always do on FM. Well i go up half a million a pot i think. If they reject it i then go a bit higher until they finally accept it.

Sport Italia journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims the Toffees have approached Napoli with a £46m bid.

The offer is said to have beaten Chelsea who are not willing to exceed their £37m valuation.

Napoli will reportedly attempt to increase Koulibaly's £670,000-a-year wages but are said to be fearful he could leave.

The report says if Everton's offer is successful, Napoli will turn their attention to Torino centre-back Nikola Maksimovic as a replacement.

Koulibaly turned heads last month at Napoli when he demanded a new contract and threatened to enter into talks with Blues boss Antonio Conte.

"Big clubs want to sign me and there is no sign of a renewal with Napoli," he said.

Everton have reportedly made a £46m bid for Kalidou Koulibaly
"I have not talked to him [Conte] but that may be soon - if nothing happens at Napoli, I will start to have contact with other clubs."

The Senegal international's comments got him into hot water with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis who claimed he had breached his contract and cost the clubs 'millions'.

"Obviously he has not read well his contracts. I am not referring to those from the employee, but to the sale of image rights," De Laurentiis said.

"For two days I have received calls from companies with whom we negotiate for more activities that would have involved Koulibaly… millions of Euros will have to be compensated."
