I've no doubt we are in for the names that have been mentioned, why wouldn't we be in for them as they are better than what we have. But been in for them and then getting them over the line is a different matter. Not being negative either mate, we've all been there where we haven't had a pot to piss in for years on end. Not being impatient because we've had windows where we've signed no one until the last minute. Still time left,

I just hope we aren't trying to run before we can walk and going for unrealistic targets and spending time on players who aren't interested in us.

It's all a bit of a game though isn't it?
We will have prime targets, but we will still be talking to our secondary targets.
It's a bit like going out (from memory at least!), you see the girl you really want (the one that's above your league) and you make your play(s), but you have always had the backup you've been chatting to, just incase things don't work out?

And if its all a ruse, if its all some dodgy ponzi scheme and The Mosh runs off with, erm, well if he just runs off, well at least we had some hope, if only for a few months.

spot on MG that 2nd paragraph and I think that's what is happening. I honestly think we could have signed about 10 players already worth 10-15m and we'd all be like "sound well at least we've seen some action". But it seems we are knee deep in hard-core negotiations with players who ( let's be honest ) probably think they are above us and we are having to sell the dream, along with money.....then more money.....then more of the dream....then wait...then more money.

I ain't got no complaints with trying to reach for the stars. Sometimes you just got a stop off at your local Jupiter or Saturn before you can take that final ride. Just don't want us to spend too much time where in the end we end up going for those 10 players for 10-15m we mentioned earlier with 5 days of the window left.

IT just needs 1, 1 of them to be the first, then like dominoes, watch bruh.

I always got the girl I wanted mate.

She then always realised I was a tit but luckily i always got the back up girls number and went for her best mate instead who was always above my league.

Rinse and repeat for a good 3 year stint of glory!

I don't even think 1 will happen mate, I honestly think it will be 3 at once and then the world will end because it will be too much for us to take.

Can you imagine the internet if Everton signed 3 of the players mentioned. Heads wouldn't be the only part that falls off.
