I dont get it tbh, we go on about signing hungry young players on the way up yet when one is available we dont want to take the risk?
£30m is way too high, but if its £15m plus performance related add ons surely its the exact type of signing we should be after.
That owner of Hull won't let him go for 15m, he will hold out for double that and that then makes it a very big gamble.

I think he is out of contract in June 23. No way they'll get £30 million. £20 million absolute max this summer, and that will only go down by January.

The vast majority of Moyes' gambles were on £500k-£2M players. There were a lot of them too.

You dont throw £30M at a player like this one we're discussing.
Correct you don't ... you bid £15m initially and you top out at £18-20m... because as the buyer you low ball

And the Hull Chairman starts at £30m and comes down to £18-20m... because as the seller you overprice.

There's a massive gap between the PL and this one. That's why Spence is valued by Spurs at £10M.

The other issue is that Hull don't need the money, their owner has plenty.

This kid can dribble and finishing is decent.

His end product is better than Gordon.

How many of you will sell Gordon for 15m? Or 30?
