Kebab or Pizza in the context of football fans protesting ownership groups

Which one do you prefer? Now think about it, are you sure? Really?

  • Pizza, obviously

  • No, hang on, you're right, I've never been disappointed by a kebab

  • Cheese on toast

Cheers mate I'll have a look at that later. Yeah the place I was at definitely had the best rep in town so it's a question of how much time you're willing to invest in waiting. The queue that time wasn't the longest it had been but a couple of people put massive orders in so it was a bit unlucky.

They do a few on notorious places to eat like famous food carts in NYC and things like that. They do a few on best pizza in NYC, or best poutine in Quebec things like that. Some of them are alright.
So long as it was worth the wait pal ha

Wtf! I only jumped on the booking the other week haha. To be honest I was dubious of going, I did wonder what it was going to be like with restrictions in place. You’d have had to have waited for a lifetime to get into a tent or found it impossible to book into one
Fingers crossed next year will be up and running and close to normal.

A proper pizza from a pizza oven beats a kebab except when you're drunk or hungover. So if you drink 5 times a week the answer is kebab. If not it's pizza. Kebab meat on a pizza is worse than pineapple.
A proper pizza beats a proper kebab hands down, but the it's ratio at which pizza disappoints in comparison to kebab.

All you pizza voters are voting on expectation, us kebab voters on reality.

Kebab meat on pizza is filth, no argument there.

Kebabs here in Germany for some reason are much better than the usual ones you get in the UK. Can be enjoyed drunk or sober. I'm a big fan of the Lahmacun. But saying that the best kebab I ever had was after a night out in Bradford, it was marvellous. Some kind of chicken shish kebab.
Germany does very good kebabs, no argument there. That saying, worst kebab I ever had, was also in Germany. Bremen the evening after our friendly with Werder. It was disgusting, really bloody awful.

Used to go to Belgium for a long time, to get my (at least) weekly dose of kebab. Was by far the best kebabshop I ever went. Pure goldmine it seemed also.

Sadly it changed owners and it went downhill from there. Ended up in bankruptcy, about a year later.

To my good fortune, found an excellent kebabshop, about 2 miles from my place.

I've very very rarely finished a kebab and thought, I enjoyed that, good value for money. more often than not the meat is of very poor quality and not very nice, hence a drunken food. Actually the one i had in Cardiff, which a local took me too, would never have found it on my own, was decent.

I do appreciate it may just be there are no good kebab shops where I reside though, I can't overlook this fact. I also stick by what I said, if you are getting pizzas from a kebab shop, you are doing it wrong lol No decent pizzaria would put donner meat on a pizza.

The OP more or less hits the nail on the head - if you have access to really good pizza, yeah, that.

You really can't beat the convenience or value of walking into a grocery store and walking out with a frozen pizza from Gino's East for $5. It's not the best example of the style, but it's very good and you feed multiple happy people with it.

Yeah re goldmines the lad who runs the kiosk I mentioned a couple of posts back is absolutely rolling in it. There's a healthy queue there pretty much all the time.
