keioc and sos working together ?

I don't know anything about KEIOC apart from the fact that they put some effort into a protest and into coming up with new ideas.

They certainly aren't wise cracking internet warriors.

It strikes me that these plans are a perfect solution, but that they are something to be worked towards very gradually; and that they may never come to full fruition.

But surely having something to work towards is better than sitting back and admitting defeat before the battle starts?

I have never been one of those who says we must have a 55,000 seater stadium for the simple reason that I don't believe we still have that number of fans able or willing to pay big bucks to go to a match. I do believe that eventually we could get to that point if the Club ever achieves success over a sustained period of time.

Everton declined for many reasons. One of the major reasons, in my view, was that successive boards lacked any kind of vision for the future. Let's try not to repeat that error.

Working with SOS??

The [Poor language removed] who are caught on camera on you tube singing about Munich??

No ta, want nothing to those beauts.

Ive never said anything on the subject of Everton moving grounds, but I do understand the reasons behind the fact Goodison is basicly very old.

But the re-development plans is perfect for me as we get to keep Goodison!

But, the plans from KEIOC that I just read are over optimistic IMO. Thought their whole angle on the Stadium move was well thought out etc. But, with the current plans mentioned above including houses being knocked down and a school re-designed, I just can not see the plans going through!

The anti-Keoic brigade were just fans who believed every word Billy Bull said about Goodison not being able to be re-developed, yet since the JOKE move to Kirkby was laughably thrown out the heirahcy at Everton have re-tracted and said re-developing Goodison was now first option.

So don't believe what the clowns that run EFC tell you, i don't!!

It's a vision, not a cast iron and costed plan. It's about presenting what would be possible under the right conditions (new ownership at both clubs being the most obvious change required). The basic point is that it would keep both clubs' identity in tact and it brings with it the possibility of unlocking public funding to help finance it all. Whilst Kenwright et al are in control of Everton and Gillett and Hicks are in charge at Anfield it stands no chance. Again, it's a vision...something that realistically could be worked toward with the will.

Being anti-KEIOC just wont do. These people are merely generating ideas.

i just think it would be better if we kept these kopites at arms length dave rather than get them involved in anything. they are full of their own self importance and aren't actually anyone with any say, like they try to make out.

I have to admit my heart sank a bit when I saw that link with SoS. For me they are a rent a mob rabble with little in common with KEIOC. It's obvious to me, though, that they have the ear of some people with pull who could be sold on this idea. That's the only reason I can see for the common ground.

Show me a quote where Kenwright says the ground can't be redeveloped. They have always maintained that it could be, but is was unaffordable. The costs were put at £200m if you want to know facs not propaganda.

You already know my views on Keioc and I haven't fully read the article, but I've always said that the only way you could realistically re-develop Goodison is if it was part of a regeneration plan for L4.

If the Council don't buy into the idea of regeneration, it simply won't happen, whatever the details of the plan.

You're so enlightened mate, they'll never brainwash you, NEVER.

Keep on sleeping with tin foil wrapped around your head so KenWRONG can't tap into your thoughts in the night.

This is akin to Jordan getting married and desperately trying to rebrand/reinvent herself to stay within media focus. Bottom line, they got their wish so they should just drop it. Hooked on the media attention somewhat.

And Jordan has beer taegs.

I honestly dont think they're media whores, mate. Just people with an abundance of ideas with no immediate means to bring them to life. Overall, I reckon they've conducted themselves well. During the DK campaign they ruffled a few feathers. When the decision was made, though, their was no triumphalism. And since that scheme's rejection they've worked tirelessly in the background cultivating a new understanding between LCC and the club and consulting the relevant professionals and funding bodies about the football quarter they see as the means to move the stadium issue forward with.
