Kenwright leaving rumour

Im not quite sure what more Bill could have done personally.

Sure hes made mistakes and I will state im not a fan of him at all, but I think we have unrealistic ambition as fans.

Prior to Moshiri we had an owner who was utterly skint, he got very lucky with Moyes and Rooney, but he kept us in the Premier League all through some of our darkest years. I really think people overlook just how hard it is to stay in this league whilst spending utter buttons.

The Kings Dock was a joke, the Tesco Megadome an even bigger joke, but he at least "tried", its so hard when you have no money and no ability to get money, we were a Premier League club and the banks were basically trying to bankrupt us, we went almost 2 years without signing a first team player, some dark, dark times that I think we as fans just forget about, demanding "they" do this, "they" do that.

We now have a very wealthy owner, sure hes not the richest in the league, hell even some fat bird in Southampton whos Daddy died has been left with more money, but he has "enough" and more importantly he has access to unfound wealth, some of which hes already spent on the team, but Moshiri hasnt been "lucky", he hasnt been given a Moyes or a Rooney, yet, sure some of it isnt luck, hes not a football expert, hes just a fella whos made a few mistakes, mistakes that will cost HIM, cos its mostly his money we have spent the last 18months spunking up the wall.

So yeah, a little bit of realism is needed from the fanbase on the main, in 1985 we were the biggest and best club in the world for me, certainly top 3!!!! But now we are "the best of the rest" a title we have held for the last 10 years or so, we need at some point to kick on, but its REALLY, REALLY not going to be easy "throw money at Fonseca" "buy Leon Bailey" "buy Draxler" "buy Icardi", look you people tink mans is playing FM.

Anyway, im sure most wont even read that, but hes the Tl:DR

GET WOKE YOU FOOLS

FFS Goat.

Mate the club tried to take away NSNO, you dont get any clearer message than that.

Yeah and look what happened. We were ‘cringey Geordie kopite fifa playing football manager millennial bells’ for once in our lives and instead of ending up with Elstone’s kid’s clip art assignment as a crest we forced them back to the drawing board.

When we wanted Martinez out after 2 seasons of tripe they bowed to our pressure and did it. We have to keep demanding better from them otherwise they will do the bare minimum wherever possible.

Unfortunately if you’re an Everton fan who wants success now you’ll find yourself being piped down by half of Goodison who are more interested in being the nicest most unembarassing club in the league than winning anything.

That badge brought us Success! Kind of...

Yeah "We" wanted Martinez out. And look where we are now. Big Sam in charge and everybody hating everything everywhere.

There is a difference between wanting success and demanding it now whilst stamping your feet about it.

Every club and supporter in world football wants success. It's not as simple as just going out and getting it.

You think people inside Goodison are there for the view?

Everybody inside Goodison wants success, but some people dont sit there for 90minutes abusing the players, abusing the manager, no club in the history of football became successful on a Saturday afternoon, their success happened months before that, years before that.

Sure the 12th man and all that, so by all means scream support, sing the players names, encourage, but for the last few years there are a growing number of fans who go to Goodison to scream abuse at OUR players, I would honestly rather these people stayed at home and watched YouPorn.

Lukaku, another player who couldn't wait to get away under Kenwright
Don't blame BK for Lukaku going. He went cos he is ambitious like Rooney was. He wants to play on the world stage with a top club and win medals. Most clubs are selling clubs, even the RS will have a job to keep their top goalscorer (forget his name). Will Kane stay at Spurs? Don't blame Levy if he goes to Real Madrid or Bayern or Barcelona. Tis the world we live in I am sorry to say.

Nobody gives him unwavering support though.

The rot started before he was the Chairman. During his time we have gone from regular relegation battlers without a pot to pee in to usually being best of the rest in the league with a fairly small pot to pee in (it's a start..). We have also become a great example of how clubs should do things in terms of the community.

He has also had some fiascos regarding ground moves.

Generally he has done fine. Not great, certainly not perfect, but fine. We all want to win stuff, Kenwright will want us to win stuff too but its not as easy as that.

He has lied to supporters numerous times with ludicrous public statements ("the money will be in the bank in the morning, Goodison will lose it's safety certificate, I'll never sell Rooney, Arteta wasn't sold to pay back the banks, etc) scrapped AGMs to avoid answering for failures, demanded the local media refuse to cover a protest group (that is a proven fact evidenced in those leaked emails), sold the club's best players for less than their worth, let Moyes walk out the door to join United for nothing, entrusted the most important commercial position at the club, CEO, to a complete idiot in Elstone, assett stripped the club whilst investing nothing and just recently personally handed a contract to a multiple time drug-failure player whilst other kids who live the life and worked hard for years were told to get lost and find other clubs.

The day this man got a standing ovation at Goodison I felt like jacking being an Everton supporter in.

Anyone remember when the cringeworthy barsteward gave himself an Everton hall of Fame award alongside names like ball and Kendall?

The nerve of the bloke to first of all nominate himself and secondly put his name in the same sentence of proper evertonian greats.

He’s just an embarrassing fool who’s overseen the worst period of our history whilst continuing to pretend it’s plucky little Everton.

Can’t wait to see the back of him.
Do you remember the period before he took over... now that was bad.
