A total professional. Always speaks well about all his old clubs, and always speaks his mind in a respectful way about us no matter how hard it is to sugar coat some of the dross we produce.

Can't underestimate the importance of what he did when he first got here and kept us up with his goals. Always did his best.

I am a fan of the man and was a fan of the player.

I'd argue he's one of the most important players in our history (say top 20), comfortably top 5 in the PL era in my opinion. We were truly awful that season he came in, pretty sure we'd just fell to 18th after being beaten at home by Sheffield Wednesday, and by the end of his run he scored a hat-trick in a 6-0 win against West Ham. We'd have dropped that season if he hadn't come in.

His lad scored for Stoke 23s last night, could be looking at call up to senior squad as lambert was there last night.

Stoke fans reckon Kev wants him at Everton.

My brother is quite pally with him as he frequents O'Shea's bar in Manchester most nights and my brother works there. He's an Arsenal boy at heart - completely understandable as they were his boyhood club - but he has a deep genuine love of Everton and our fans. He's always willing to take a picture with a blue and chat footy.

He kept us up when everything looked dire. He will always be Super Kev to us.

In the great scheme of things he made a big impact in the time he was here at somewhat the twilight of his career, during that time he showed us endearing qualities, his work rate, skill, commitment, class and you're right mate there's no doubt we would have gone down.

It is good to see he holds the Everton fans in the same high esteem in which we covet King Kev himself, a top man.

Was before my time really but he's got one of the best chants of any player.

"My name is Super Kev Campbell, he scored in the scramble, he knows where effing net is!"
