I think he is good enough for Arsenal, but perhaps not first XI material. I mean let's be honest lad Walcott's not all that, Arshavin was gash, Ramsey's been a bit poo and Abou Diaby has 165 appearances for you, so yeah I do reckon he's good enough for Arsenal.

I do agree though; I think the Arsenal interest was magnified from Mirallas' side. I definitely think if Arsenal had said they really wanted him and he'd be a first XI player there's no way in hell he'd be coming here.

I don't think that it's that he wouldn't get into Arsenal's team, but they would rotate between all of their wingers and he obviously wouldn't want that.

Arsenal are very good at finding diamonds in the rough, I can see him being a future prospect to mould. Arsenal are tight enough when it comes to spending money/buying players, they only buy useful players.
