He makes us unpredictable and adds flair and speed to a side thats known to be slow. The middle of the park is solid and experienced and with pienaar back the team will naturally perform to his level. As Neville said when he was here the whole team plays better because he sets the bar. Teams are aware of the Bainaar connection and with Mirallas on the right it will make us deadly, we will be able to play counter attacking football and he is very good friends with Fellaini so he should make him settle quick. The key point being predictable Everton will be able to be a team of flair and true class, if the team gels well i can see a fight for top 4
 
A respected commentator in Greece said this - "if Everton fans want to know what to expect, they have signed good player who works hard... but Mirallas is not a franchise player, he is not the player that comes to your club and elevates it to the next level"

I don't know what to make of that. Let's wait and see.

Hopefully Moyes brings in a right back and one other which means Neville or Heitinga never play midfield again.
 
I think he was bought to bring pace and trickery down the right side, and maybe a few goals from RW. He has what it takes to be a great RW but i hope people dont get on his back if he dosent score straight away

All being well Mirallas might be unveilled at half time of the United game - Goodison rocking for another evening game, great introduction for him, and hopefully pump the crowd up to inspire a similar result to the one Jelavic walked into.

Absolutely immense atmosphere for hus introduction. Hope we dont get bummed in the first half so the crowd isnt depressed

is he really though? wenger spoke about his attack today and said he was happy with it. If walcott stays, we have walcott, gervinho, chamberlain, podolski, giroud and arshavin. lets be honest here, the guy has a release clause on 5.3 million, if he was that great more teams would come in for him. he started the arsenal rumors and then whats worse is he said he would prefer everton because he would get games there, so he doesnt even believe he can start for arsenal. pretty much all the belgium fans on twitter are saying he's not good enough for arsenal. i hope he does well for you though and turns out like another jelevic(y)

I think with both LD and Mirallas here and with pace, it gives Pienaar the opportunity to go central. Now, that does break up the Pienaar and Baines bromance, but I think LD could do just fine there. Gives us the opportunity to have all three on the pitch at the same time and gives us something we've always been missing: SPEED!

February could just be orgasmic!

Pienaar and Mirallas can change positions and I don't think it'd affect the way Baines plays too much as Mirallas seems to like to cut inside which would allow him to still bomb on

I've lurked the hell out of this thread for a couple of days now, so it's about time I joined. Looks to be a ripper signing, let's hope we get some official word in the next few hours.

I dont know if its been mentioned here but I think Mirallas decision to come here is in no small way down to the influence of Fallaini. I am convinced there was an element of encouragement about the quality of the club and the fans whispered into his belgian ear from his belgian buddy. FELLAINI YOU ARE AN EVERTON LEGEND IN THE MAKING ........buys felli wig and wears it all day
