With regard to the defensive side of the game, I think having Hibbert behind him will release him a little from his defensive duties as Hibbert is so strong defensively, it will give him more freedom to do what he does best, and that is to attack.

Remember when we signed this lad.

Anyway was thinking today i wonder does signing Belgium Kev, mean the end to Donovan and Everton.

I think he'll come on loan again maybe when Pienaar's at the ACoN. Possibly.

To be honest I'm not arsed. We need to be looking at younger players.

That said I think it's a bit early to say. Kev's performance and unpredictable events like injuries or Anichebe becoming a footballer might influence January dealings.

Nope. Pienaar is on ACN duty in January, Mirallas played on the left wing for Olympiakos - we'll bring Donovan is as cover.

I think he will still come over again in January personally, He gives the team/fans a lift and Moyes knows he will add something to the team

Yeah this confuses me, whos spot is Belgian Kev going to take. Really like, hes not going to break up Pienaar and Baines, Mofro - well Monday, so at the mo that leaves the right.

I can see Landon maybe on a loan, for depth if Pienaar goes of - but permo - im begining to have my doubts.

The thing is tho, they can all play wherever, its all about options and lets face it, we have tons of them.

Moyes has an uncanny knack of having players who can play about 12 different positions, when you look at the squad though, its small by PL standards - not saying we dont have options like.

Lets wait and see Nais first. A Celtic Fan described the linkup between him and Jel as awesome both in Scotland and Europe. Bit like us complimenting anything Red.

So happy it finally happened after all the waiting, wish we got it done to see him play Monday but ah well.

I doubt we would of seen him play on Monday anyway.

Rekon we'll see about 10-15 mins of him at the weekend and his first start will be in the capital one cup next week along with any other signings we make before the transfer window closes IMO.

The sooner the better for me tho coz the boy looks sexie.

Thus why I still feel we move for Donovan.

Exactly. I posted several possible lineups a few days ago. Having him onboard as a known entity gives us even more options than we have:

Pienaar
LD
Naismith
Mirallas
Fellaini
Jelavic

All interchanging upfront = goodness. I don't literally mean in a game, but I mean gives us options.

Plus, LD does give us pace. Yes, even at his old age when he turns on the afterburners, he goes. Him + Mirallas on the wings with Pienaar in the center could be amazing.

The point = depth. All of them will be starting XI friendly, just a question of figuring out your best XI.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm not convinced Fellaini upfront could be better than Fellaini making late runs in the middle. This could potentially be amazing:

Jelavic - Mirallas
Pienaar - Gibson - Fellaini - LD

ATTACK!

Or if you want Fellaini upfront:

Jelavic - Fellaini
Mirallas - Gibson - Pienaar - LD

Cause you can't tell me you want Neville playing where Pienaar does permanently.

The one left out of this is Naismith as I personally think LD is better. But if he catches fire, then we have even more options! Oh, and also Ossie, but he's a central player.

Did you ever think we'd have OPTIONS?

(And no, I'm not counting Anichebe).
