Even if he was we need backup as I can't imagine we'll see much more of Atsu and Pienaar looks a shadow of himself.

We need mirrallas so much as what he offers he's an outlet he's direct he's what we need at times I sill want to see Pienaar playing on The opposite wing. But with Barry back Saturday will Ross play on the wing?

Roberto Martinez says it will be the latter part of this week before the full extent of Kevin Mirallas’ ankle problem is discovered.

Mirallas, who had scored Everton's second goal in the 3-1 win over QPR with a deflected free-kick, was forced from the field in the closing stages after a Jordon Mutch challenge.

The Belgian is undergoing scans on the injury and Martinez, speaking on Tuesday afternoon, explained that the results are not due back for at least a couple more days.

“We are still doing some tests and nothing is conclusive yet,” the manager told evertonfc.com.

“It’s clearly ankle damage and we are not going to find out until the next two or three days the extent of the injury.”
