Why do people keep saying they could see him going to Arsenal?

If he wanted to go to Arsenal he would have gone there in 2012, he chose us.

Atleti or no one IMO.

He chose us for first team football, sensible move I think. He'd fit right in there - wouldn't begrudge him the move to be honest. Just hope he's got enough integrity to avoid the temptation of Liverpool if they come calling

Hes hardly injury prone, hes just currently injured.
How many times has his hamstrings gone this season and he's still not back.

It's worrying when this kind of thing happens. He might not come back the same runs all day kind of player. Of course that's a doom and gloom view but it is also a possibility which is why I would say I would be tempted. At least the club are doing the right thing now and not rushing him back like they have done with players in the past. It just has a feeling that the whole thing is similar to Jags last year. I'm not surprised that medical guy left.

He wouldn't get a game at Arsenal. It would be like Pienaar going to Spurs.

I haven't seen any remarks from him that say he thinks he's bigger than the club. In fact I haven't seen anything that says he's for sure going. It doesn't sound promising but to me his mind isn't on moving ASAP.

City bought Kompany for 6 million pounds from Hamburg after moving from Anderlecht, not exactly a one club man although he's been an exemplary captain for them.

True, but he has had offers from big clubs in Spain even before City got any trophees and he said he wanted to stay and work with the club to win some prices. In the modern era where (the better) players move from club to club every other two years, he's kind of an exception.

So he choose to stay at the club that gives the biggest wages in the league that can offer him the highest wages.

Something doesnt add up here.

reus is quite a bit better than mirallas like. what are they going to do, replace a £30m player with a £15m one?
Reus is much likely go to Real, maybe right now in January. If it happens they want somebody to replace him and it seems Klopp is a big fan of Mirallas according to the news.

Has Reus recovered from his ankle ligament damage yet? For a young player he seems to have had a lot of ankle injuries, would have thought a new team would want to check he is fully fit after his last one before buying him.
